Additional /56 IPv6 net (Dedicated root servers)
If you need a subnet, we will configure an additional /56 subnet for each server and charge you £ 15.00 ($ 17.00) (excl. VAT) for processing this request. If there is a high demand, we will consider if and how we can automate or improve this process.
How can I request an additional /56 subnet?
- Log into Robot, select your server, and create a support request with the topic "Other". You can copy-paste this text: "I hereby order an additional /56 IPv6 subnet for my server. I confirm that I accept the one-time setup fee for it, which is £ 15.00 ($ 17.00) excluding VAT". (Please adjust the price to the VAT applicable in your country).
- Wait for our support team to respond and to process your request.
- Configure the subnet on your server.

FAQs
What about IPv6?
Our dedicated servers come with the option to remove the Primary IPv4 as an addon and to cancel it for your existing servers. So you can decide for yourself whether you want or need the IPv4.
Our cloud servers also come with the option to remove the Primary IPv4 when you create a new server. And as long as the power state of a server is "off", you can even add, remove or swap the Primary IPs (IPv4, IPv6) of an existing server.
- Since 1 January 2022, there is no longer a price difference between Floating IPs created before and after 1 August 2021. These prices do not include VAT.
