Product migration

It is possible to migrate existing products from one Progressiverobot customer to another. Please look at the correct type of product below to learn how to transfer the to other customers.

Unbound Storage Boxes

The procedure is similar to that for dedicated root servers:

  • Person A = current Storage Box owner
  • Person B = future Storage Box owner
  1. Person A creates a token for the Storage Box on their account. (Look under "Storage Box" on the left hand menu.) -> Select "Storage Box" -> "Storage Box Transfer"(menu tab) -> "Create Token") and copy it.
  2. Person A gives Person B the transfer token.
  3. Person B logs into their Robot account.
  4. Person B goes to "Storage Box". (Look under "Storage Box" on the left hand menu.) -> Select "Storage Box transfer" -> "Start Storage Box transfer" and enters the token.
  5. Person A confirms that they agree to the transfer on Robot. (Go to "Storage Box"->choose the Storage Box -> "Transfer" -> approve the transfer with "ACK".)

Cloud products:

To transfer a server, the following steps are necessary:

  1. The recipient creates a project and invites the sender to it.
  2. The sender moves the server into the project of the receiver (from this point on the receiver is already the owner of the server)
  3. The receiver can then move the server to a private project, and delete the project created for exchange or remove the sender as a member from this project.

To create an invitation for a cloud project, please proceed as follows:

  • Select the corresponding project.
  • Navigate to the menu on the left side of the screen and select the "Security" button.
  • Select the "Members" tab and click "Add member" to create an invitation.

Domains on Robot:

To transfer domains, proceed as follows.

  • Person A: current domain owner

  • Person B: future domain owner

  • Person A logs into their Robot accounts and creates a token for the correct domain (under "Domains" -> select domain -> "Transfer" -> "Create token") and copies it.

  • Person A gives Person B the token.

  • Person B logs into their account and enters the token under "Domains" -> "Internal transfers" -> "Start domain transfer" and fills in the domain data. (Person B may have to create new handles, as these cannot be transferred). This will create the transfer request.

  • Person A confirms that they agree to the transfer on Robot. (Go to "Domains" -> choose domain -> "Transfer" -> approve the transfer with "ACK".)

This completes the domain transfer, including any DNS record created in the DNS Console.

Products on konsoleH (managed domains, Storage Shares, web hosting packages, managed servers)

If all of the data for the transfer will remain the same, meaning the former/future contractual partner and the domain data, then you can send us a support request about the transfer via your account on both of the user interface (konsoleH/Robot).

If the data is different, we will need you to fill out the transfer order form.
