Generating S3 keys

To generate S3 credentials on your Cloud Console account, please open your project and do the following:

  1. Go to Security on the left menu bar

  2. Go to S3 Credentials on the upper menu bar and select Generate credentials
  3. Create your S3 credentials
  4. Enter a description in the text box.
  5. Copy your S3 credentials
  • In the top text box, you can see your access key.

  • In the bottom text box, you can see your secret key.

Warning: It is not possible to view the secret key again once the window has been closed! Make sure you save the key locally before you close it.

You now have S3 credentials. Note: It is not possible to share S3 credentials across multiple projects unless you set up appropriate bucket policies (see "How do I restrict access per key?"). Without bucket policies, you need to create separate credentials for each project.
